Perkin Elmer Perkin Elmer Spectrum Spotlight 150 FT-IR Microscope & Spectrum 65 Spectrometer

This Perkin Elmer Spectrum Spotlight 150 FT-IR Microscope & Spectrum 65 Spectrometer was removed from a university lab where it was surplus to requirements.

The unit has been tested by a service engineer and is in full working order as far as they could test it. They said it should be functional but they were unable to complete full function checks as LN2 is required plus a vacuum pump down which can only be done by the manufacturer in the USA. Everything else has been checked and is working.

The engineer reported the following during testing.

Spectrum 65 supplied with UATR and HATR. All fine.

Cleaned source and optics fine. Laser date of 2015. Slight

damage to RHS sample area window, but usable

Laser value 0.8V and energy 5913. Signal to Noise passing at

3271:1. Instrument fine for use

Polystyrene reference used: JS10504

All polystyrene calibration checks: PASS

It is in excellent cosmetic condition with only minor marks from use.
